Morton made it four wins in a row with a 3-2 victory over 10-man Airdrie.
Morton struck the post twice in the first 30 minutes with David O'Brien and Archie Campbell seeing efforts come back off the woodwork.
But it was Airdrie who struck first as John Boyle drilled in a low effort from 25 yards to give his side the lead.
It took the visitors just three minutes of the second half to equalise through Campbell's calm lob. And they took the lead 20 minutes later as O'Brien tapped in from two yards.
With 11 minutes left Campbell scored his second with a curling finish into the bottom corner.
John Boyle replied for Airdrie a minute later with a low effort into the corner but any chance of a comeback was scuppered by David Lilley's 85th-minute red card for a professional foul on Campbell.
