Jake Hyde's double earned lowly Barnet a point with Oxford in a 2-2 draw at Underhill.
After fine wing play by Ricky Holmes, Hyde slotted past U's goalkeeper Ryan Clarke with 20 minutes remaining to level things up after Andrew Whing's first goal for the visitors looked like putting them on course for all three points.
Whing headed Peter Leven's free-kick home just a minute into the second half to put Oxford 2-1 in front.
The scores were level at the break after Hyde and U's winger Sean Rigg exchanged goals in the space of a minute.
Barnet, without the suspended Edgar Davids, opened the scoring through Hyde in the fifth minute when he headed in Mark Byrne's corner. But straight from the restart Rigg broke into the box and coolly volleyed an equaliser.
Hyde and strike partner Jon Nurse had first-half chances for the Bees, while Rigg fired over at the other end on the stroke of half-time.
As the game drew to a close Holmes drove agonisingly wide for Barnet and in the final minute Johnny Mullins hit the crossbar for Oxford.
