Evian Thonon Gaillard 1-1 Lorient
Lorient preserved their unbeaten record in Ligue 1 thanks to Gilles Sunu's 85th-minute goal at Evian.
The visitors had trailed for almost the whole game after Saber Khelifa's early goal.
Lorient's prolific attack had not been shut out in any game this season, though, and Sunu preserved that record with a classy finish to salvage a point which keeps his side fourth.
They had to do it the hard way after Evian took an eighth-minute lead, Yannick Sagbo crossing to present Khelifa with a straightforward finish into an unguarded goal.
Lorient responded with a chance for Kevin Monnet-Paquet, who controlled Mathias Autret's pass but saw his shot turned behind by Evian keeper Stephan Andersen.
Khelifa was again played in on goal by Cedric Barbosa but drew a sharp save from Fabien Audard.
The first half had developed into a duel between Khelifa at one end and Monnet-Paquet at the other and the latter was denied by Andersen again after being teed up by Enzo Reale, a substitute for the injured Wesley Lautoa.
The second half began with a chance for Lorient's Jeremie Aliadiere, who tested Andersen after being set up by Benjamin Corgnet's through-ball.
Audard saved from Kevin Berigaud after more good work by Sagbo before Monnet-Paquet set a golden chance at the other end for Sunu, but Andersen saved on the line.
The impressive Sagbo combined with Berigaud again but once more Audard stood firm.
And he got his rewards when, with five minutes remaining, Aliadiere's cross was left by Ludovic Giuly for Sunu to sidefoot the ball into the top corner.
