Fernando Hierro to be presented as Oviedo manager

Real Madrid legend Fernando Hierro will be presented as the new coach at Spanish Segunda Division club Real Oviedo this Wednesday, one week after being signed to a one-year contract to replace David Generelo.

Hierro is in Mexico this week to meet with club majority shareholder Arturo Elias Ayub, of Grupo Carso, and is expected to address the media regarding the names of the rest of his coaching staff and his plans for the 2016-17 season.

Hierro is expected to be working closely with Grupo Carso's adviser, Joaquin del Olmo.
