Real Madrid will face Club America or the winners of the AFC Champions League in the semifinals of the 2016 FIFA Club World Cup.
The draw for the competition, which is held in Japan in December, also saw the CAF Champions League winner drawn to face either the J. League champions or Auckland City, the winners of which will face Atletico Nacional in the other semifinal.
The competition kicks off on Dec. 8 at Yokohama's International Stadium which will also host the third-place playoff and final on Dec. 18. One club from each of FIFA's six confederations will participate alongside the Japanese champions, who earn a qualifying spot as the hosts.

Real begin on Dec. 15 in Yokohama, kicking off at 11.30 a.m. CET.
Eleven-time European champions Real have won the competition in its current guise on one previous occasion -- in 2014 when they defeated San Lorenzo 2-0 in the final in Morocco -- but also picked up the Intercontinental Cup in 1960, 1998 and 2002.
Tashima Kohzo, the president of the Japan Football Association (JFA), said: "There are less than three months to go and we are eagerly waiting for the opening of the tournament. We are hoping to see the highest level of club football, and for the clubs involved to demonstrate the characteristics of each continent in their play.
