Bayern Munich teenager Takashi Usami says he does not understand why he continues to be linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena in the January transfer window.
Usami, 19, arrived in Bavaria in August as one of Japan's most highly-rated youngsters but has failed to assert himself on the first-team picture so far this season, playing just 22 minutes.
The former Gamba Osaka midfielder has been the subject of interest from Augsburg and 2. Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf, who are both keen to take him on loan according to reports in the German media.
But despite struggling to impress Bayern boss Jupp Henckes, Usami insists he has no desire to leave the club in order to seek first-team football.
"I have been taking notice of this just from the newspaper reports," Usami told Mainpost. "At first, I was bewildered to see this being reported as fact, because I am not keen on a move away from Bayern Munich."
