VVV chief to raise concerns with KNVB

VVV-Venlo chairman Hai Berden plans to contact the KNVB about the decisions against his side in recent weeks.

VVV are second-bottom of the Eredivisie and lost 2-1 to FC Groningen at the weekend after Andrea Mei was sent off in the process of conceding a penalty.

Mei was the third VVV player to be sent off this season and Berden believes his side are getting a rough ride and intends to follow up his complaint.

"I'm angry,'' he told Voetbal International. "This is the third time we have been disadvantaged, it's going too far.

"I'll certainly raise this with the KNVB, I'd like to hear what they want to do with these blunders.

"Whether it is electronic aids or red cards for officials, I'm no expert but I want this issue seriously on the agenda.''
