Fiorentina have confirmed Stevan Jovetic has signed a new contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Jovetic's previous terms at Fiorentina were due to expire in 2013 and now the club have moved to tie the Montenegro international down until 2016.
The attack-minded player joined La Viola from Partizan Belgrade for €8 million in 2008 and, after missing the entirety of last season with a knee injury, has returned to impressive form this campaign.
Fiorentina are currently tenth in Serie A after nine matches, with Jovetic having scored five league goals and also recording two assists.
