Premier Showdown - Oct 22-23
The Rest of the World won the day last weekend to move three points clear at the top again in their ding-dong battle with Dale Johnson at the top of the table.
But can they extend their lead? That responsibility lies with Bryce Robertson from Auckland who will look to celebrate victory at the rugby World Cup and a Showdown success in the same weekend. What a weekend that would be.
Bryce tells Soccernet: "Hello, I'm 15 and I'm from the North Island of New Zealand (right next to Australia). I'm still at high school so I've only got a small job working on my neighbour's farm at the moment. I love soccer and have played it since I was four years old.
"My favorite team is Manchester United and my hero is Javier Hernandez, AKA Chicharito! I can't wait until this weekend's derby against City, should be an awesome match and hopefully Hernandez will score. GO THE RED DEVILS!"
Go! Go! Go!
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPNsoccernet journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total.
Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
Bryce takes the points with six correct results out of 10. The Rest of the World are storming away!
