Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic is confident that he will be offered a new contract by the club but believes he would easily be able to find himself a new club if the Bavarians were to release him.

Olic has been plagued by injury problems over the past 12 months, having been sidelined for most of last season with a cruciate ligament problem.

He has also been suffering with a hip injury in the current campaign and has not played since August, when he scored the winning goal against former club Hamburg.

Olic's current contract expires at the end of the current season but the 31-year-old is unworried about his future, whether it be with Bayern or elsewhere.

"I am finally back fit and I have a great hunger for goals," Olic said. "I am sure I will be able to sign a good new deal with Bayern Munich.

"[But] I would accept if I have to move on. I am a professional and it would not be too difficult to find a new club when you have just left a club like Bayern."
