Russia travel to Slovakia on October 7 before they host Andorra four days later and sit top of the table in Group B, two points ahead of Ireland. However, if the worst should happen, Advocaat has revealed that his contract will be terminated if progress to Poland and Ukraine is not sealed.
"It's all over for me if we don't make it to Euro 2012. I will leave if we don't qualify. It doesn't make any sense to continue if we don't have a goal to achieve. This is part of my contract with the Russian football association," Advocaat told De Telegraaf.
"We still have everything in our own hands, though, and that is the most important thing at the moment."
The 64-year-old's contract runs until after the 2014 World Cup.
