Mulumbu initially quit after complaining of a lack of professionalism in the set-up before being persuaded to change his mind.
But he has now decided to concentrate on playing for the Baggies with whom he signed a new contract during the summer.
Mulumbu said: ''I am withdrawing from international football with immediate effect. The decision has been taken after long discussions with my family and medical advisors.''
