Manchester United right-back Rafael Da Silva has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following his reaction to his dismissal in Sunday's game against Tottenham.

The Brazilian was shown a second yellow card for tripping Tottenham defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto in the second half at White Hart Lane and ferociously disputed referee Mike Dean's decision to show him the red card.
Rafael was first booked for a challenge on Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios, before appearing to accidentally trip Assou-Ekotto as the left-back burst down the wing.
The governing body has now charged Rafael for his conduct in the 0-0 draw in North London.
"Manchester United defender Rafael Da Silva has today (Monday) been charged by The FA with Improper Conduct," read a statement. "The charge relates to the player's conduct towards match official Mike Dean following his dismissal in Manchester United's fixture at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, January 16. The player has until 6pm on January 18 to respond to the charge."
