Marseille defender Souleymane Diawara has been cleared of a UEFA disciplinary charge after an incident in the Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow.
Diawara was involved in the altercation which saw Spartak's Welliton sent off, appearing to knee his opponent in the back before making the most of the Brazilian striker's retaliation.
The Senegal international - who has just completed a three-match domestic ban - will now be available to face Manchester United in the first knock-out round.
He told his club's official website: "It would have been a big thing to miss the last-16 game. Now it is erased, forgotten and it will not happen again.''
