AC Milan director Ariedo Braida has ruled out a January move for Chelsea defender Jose Bosingwa but suggested a summer deal is possible.
Bosingwa, who joined Chelsea from Porto for £16.3 million in 2008, is out of contract in the summer and it remains to be seen whether he will remain at Stamford Bridge.
Reports have suggested Chelsea would be happy to offload Bosingwa, 28, this month but, although Milan admire the player, it appears there are no plans to make a bid for now.
"We always like good players and Bosingwa definitely falls into that category, but we're just on standby," he said. "At the moment, there is no interest from us in the player, but who knows when it comes to June?
"Football is ever changing - a situation now may not be the same situation at a later date. All I can say right now is that Bosingwa will not be joining us in January, but I don't know about the summer."
