 Levante loan for Arsenal's Wellington

Arsenal teenager Wellington has joined Spanish side Levante on loan.

Wellington, 18, signed for the Gunners from Fluminense last year but has been denied a work permit to play in England.

A statement on the Arsenal website today read: "Arsenal has established a long-term strategy for identifying the best talent from around the world. This process has worked well in the past with players such as Carlos Vela.

"The club is confident it is the best approach for developing Wellington's potential.''
