Bordeaux have had an offer accepted by Lorient for Valencia target Kevin Gameiro.

The striker, who has scored eight goals in 17 games this season, is seen by Girondins coach Jean Tigana as the man to fire them up the Ligue 1 table from their current position in eighth.
Shareholder Nicolas de Tavernost told L'Equipe: ''We have made an offer for Kevin Gameiro which satisfies Lorient. We have also made an offer to the player, who for now seems to prefer Valencia.
''We are hoping for a swift response, we will not wait for weeks. If not, there are other options.''
Gameiro is keen to move to boost his chances of further call-ups to the France squad, having made his debut in September's European Championship qualifying defeat to Belarus.
A prospective move to the Primera Division could be thwarted by Valencia's financial difficulties, which mean they are unlikely to improve significantly on their current offer.
Meanwhile, Gameiro's team-mate Jeremy Morel has extended his contract with Lorient. The defender, 26, is set to remain at the club until 2014.
