Juventus have been dealt a huge blow with the news that top scorer Fabio Quagliarella has been ruled out for the rest of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Quagliarella, 27, was forced to come after just three minutes of Juventus' embarassing 4-1 home defeat to Parma on Thursday, having twisted his knee after getting his foot stuck in the turf.
The Italy striker, who has scored nine goals in 17 Serie A games for fifth-place Juve this season, underwent an MRI scan a the the Fornaca clinic in Turin on Friday, which confirmed the Bianconeri's worst fears.
Quagliarella has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and is now expected to be out of action for between four and six months.
Juventus' remaining striking options are Vincenzo Iaquinta, Alessandro Del Piero and Amauri, though theyhave dipped into the January transfer market, signing former Bayern Munich and Fiorentina striker Luca Toni from Genoa.
