The Glazers have come under increased pressure over the last few months as fans' group the Red Knights have attempted to engineer a takeover bid for the club.
But according to the American owners, who have been at Old Trafford since controversially taking charge of United in 2005, have denied that they will entertain any bids for the club.
"The Board notes recent press speculation regarding a possible bid for Manchester United," the statement said. "The owners remain fully committed to their long-term ownership of the club. Manchester United is not for sale and the owners will not entertain any offers."
The statement is the clearest expression yet that the Glazers will not sell and coincided with United revealing their quarterly reports, with the club showing increased revenues and £95 million cash in the bank.
