Tests conducted on the players in the Real Betis first team squad who showed symptoms of swine flu have confirmed they have the H1N1 virus, the Spanish second division club said on Thursday.

Betis said on Tuesday as many as 10 players may have the virus and have now asked for this weekend's match against Villarreal B to be postponed.

The affected players were being treated and training had been suspended for the week, the club said on their official website.
