Uruguay international Sebastian Abreu is close to sealing a move to Spanish side Real Sociedad.
The globe-trotting forward, currently at Argentinian giants River Plate, will play for his 16th club when he joins the Segunda Division Basque side.
"This is a nice experience that I did not think to have at 32. Not everybody has a chance to play at a club like Real Sociedad at this age," Abreu told La Red radio station.
Abreu did not travel with the River Plate squad to Mendoza province for pre-season training on Friday.
He added: "I am not going to regret (my decision). I am calm because I took the decision quickly and I did not interfere with the new coaching team's plans."
