Charlton Athletic have named Phil Parkinson as their new manager.

Parkinson took the reins at The Valley on a caretaker basis in November after Alan Pardew left the club.

The Addicks are rooted to the bottom of the Championship and have failed to win any of the eight games since Parkinson was put in charge.
