Goncalves set to leave Hearts for Celta?

Hearts defender Jose Goncalves could be on his way to Spain after his agent claimed Celta Vigo have made an offer worth 1.3million for the left-back.

The 21-year-old Portuguese player joined Hearts from FBK Kaunas in January last year.

His agent, Adriano di Vittorio, told the Edinburgh Evening News: 'Celta Vigo want Jose and they have offered two million euros (1.3million) but Hearts want three million euros (3million).'

Di Vittorio admitted Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov 'is not in a rush to sell' Goncalves, but claimed the defender would gladly join the team coached by Bulgarian legend Hristo Stoichkov.

Di Vittorio said: 'He would like to leave because he has a good offer but the president is asking for more money. The right price is always between the asking price and the bid price.'
