PARIS, Jan 25 (Reuters) - The section of the Parc des Princes stands where Paris St Germain's most extreme fans traditionally assemble will be reopened when the club host Sochaux in Ligue 1 on Saturday, police said on Thursday.
The lower section of one of the stands, known as the Boulogne Kop, was closed on police orders after a PSG fan was killed by a policeman during violence that marred a UEFA Cup game against Hapoel Tel Aviv in November. Police said in a statement the stands would be reopened because the PSG fans had behaved since and had committed themselves to shun any form of violence. Police also said Saturday's match could kick off at 1900 GMT. PSG's home games since the fan's death had been played in the afternoon.
