CARY, N.C. -- Goalkeeper Kasey Keller and defender Steve Cherundolo arrived at the U.S. World Cup training camp after completing their club seasons in Germany and joined teammates on a golf course Monday.

Keller, who plays for Borussia Moenchengladbach, and Cherundolo, who plays for Hannover 96, traveled Sunday, a day after their clubs' season finales.

U.S. coach Bruce Arena gave players a day off Monday following a 45-minute scrimmage the previous day. Among those playing golf were captain Claudio Reyna, forwards Brian McBride and Josh Wolff, midfielder Pablo Mastroeni and goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann, team spokesman Michael Kammarman said.

Twenty-two of the 23 players on the U.S. roster are in camp. Defender Eddie Lewis, who reported May 10 for the opening of training, rejoined Leeds for Sunday's playoff game against Watford in Cardiff, Wales. The winner will be promoted to the English Premier League next season.

U.S. coach Bruce Arena did not make any changes to his roster before Monday's deadline to submit it to FIFA. Arena announced his 23 picks on May 2 and made one alteration the following day, adding defender Chris Albright in place of Frankie Hejduk, who tore a knee ligament.
