Germany add Luxembourg date to warm-ups

FRANKFURT, March 30 (Reuters) - Germany have added a match against Luxembourg to their list of pre-World Cup friendly internationals.

The hosts will break from their training camp in Switzerland for the match in Freiburg on May 27.

Juergen Klinsmann's squad will have their first warm-up match in an unofficial, 60-minute practice game against amateur club Luckenwalde on May 16 in Mannheim before flying off to Sardinia for the first leg of a two-stage training camp.

They move on to Geneva on May 21 and, apart from the brief excursion for the Luxembourg match, will remain there until May 30.

Germany will also play World Cup warm-ups against Japan in Leverkusen on May 30 and Colombia in Moenchengladbach on June 2.

The hosts play the opening match of the World Cup against Costa Rica in Munich on June 9. The final is in Berlin on July 9.
