Eto'o would welcome Henry at Barcelona

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o is ready to welcome Arsenal striker Thierry Henry with open arms if he decides to move to the Primera Liga.

Speculation continues to suggest the Frenchman will leave the Gunners for the Nou Camp this summer, despite the emergence of Argentinian youngster Lionel Messi.

Henry, 28, would face competition from Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Messi for a place in Frank Rijkaard's starting line-up, but the Cameroon international believes he would be a good addition.

'I always say that the best players are always welcome and Henry is a great player,' Eto'o told the Catalan Daily Sport, whilst on international duty at the African Nations Cup.

'Whatever improves Barca is good for everyone there. If finally he comes to our dressing room, it will be good news for everyone.'
