COPENHAGEN, Jan 9 (Reuters) - Brondby striker Morten Skoubo has moved to Spain's Real Sociedad for 2.5 million euros ($3.0 million), the Danish champions said on Monday.
The Danish international will join Sociedad with immediate effect on a four-and-a-half year contract, Brondby said in a statement. Brondby bought Skoubo from Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach for 600,000 euros in 2004. The German club will receive 380,000 euros from the sale of the 25-year-old to the Spanish club, Brondby said. Skoubo, who spent four months on loan at West Bromwich Albion in 2004, has two international caps.
