PARIS, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Sedan striker Cedric Mionnet is set to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with Nice, the French first division club said on Wednesday.
'Mionnet will be in Nice on Thursday to sign his contract,' Nice president Maurice Cohen told French television. The 28-year-old Mionnet made his professional debut with Sedan in 1997 and had become the symbol of the team's rise to the first division in 1999. He helped them reach the French Cup final in their promotion season. Mionnet has only started seven games this season.
