Premier Showdown - May 11-12
A draw at the Stadium of Light gave the Rest of the World the points in a low-scoring round last time out. But what that did mean was the Rest of the World surged to the top of the table with just two rounds left to go.
Win this penultimate round and the Rest of the World will secure their first Showdown title since 2007. Can they do it? The responsibility falls to John McLucas who is from the United States - Santa Cruz, California to be precise.
He tells us: "I'm a Structural Engineer, family man and avid footie fan. My team is Chelsea due to my youth coach, a transplanted Londoner who passed his love for the club onto me. It was hard to follow Chelsea here in the States during my youth, but ESPN and the internet have been a boon, and the coverage just keeps getting better."
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPN journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total.
Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
A very high-scoring round and it's Tommy secures a vital win to go back to the top of the table heading into the final round. It's going to the wire!
