Klopp remarks strike bum note

Bayern Munich have hit back at Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp's claim that they will ask future manager Pep Guardiola for advice before taking on his former club Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.

Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had said current coach Jupp Heynckes would not be talking to Guardiola about Barca - but Klopp believed someone else would.

Speaking to the press after the Champions League draw on Friday, the Dortmund boss said: "I bet my arse that [Bayern general manager] Mr [Matthias] Sammer and Mr Guardiola will chat on the phone."

Sammer responded to his comments by saying: "I would be a bit cautious about my posterior, because the posterior might not be dispensable in life," while Rummenigge said: "I fear his arse will end up in the club's museum at some point."

Rummenigge hinted at a recent story in the German tabloids when he added: "It might have been better if he had bet his hair. He could transplant that. It will get difficult with his arse."

Speaking to Bild late last week, Klopp confirmed he had had a hair transplant and was happy with the result. "Looks pretty cool, doesn't it?" he said.

German fans and media are waiting for Klopp's response to the comments from Bayern - but he has yet to strike back.

Meanwhile, Barcelona director Andoni Zubizarreta has said Guardiola's name should not be mentioned in connection with a tie in which he is not involved.

"Pep should be left in peace," he said. "This is a tie between Barcelona and Bayern, and we should not be bothering those who are not involved.

"I guess he will enjoy it [the game] because he is a football man. They are two great clubs, with great players, great coaches, great fans. We hope to see a great football tie."
