Roma's Miralem Pjanic insists the Giallorossi can qualify for the Champions League next season despite lying eighth in Serie A.

Roma are currently five points behind third-placed AC Milan and Pjanic, who scored in his side's 3-2 win at Atalanta at the weekend, has his eyes on a top-three finish and a ticket to European football's top table.
"We are still far from the Champions League zone," Pjanic said. "We just have to take things one game at a time, but if we keep playing with this kind of desire then we can catch up with the teams ahead of us."
Roma have finished sixth in the past two seasons but have qualified for the Champions League in four of the last seven.
The Giallorossi have twice previously reached major European finals, losing to Liverpool on penalties in the 1984 European Cup at their Stadio Olimpico home and to Inter Milan in the 1991 UEFA Cup.
