Daniel Agger rates Luis Suarez as the most talented player at Liverpool, telling fans in a live Twitter chat that he would nominate the Uruguay forward for the Ballon d'Or.

• Gerrard fears Suarez exit

Suarez has been in exceptional form for the Reds this season, scoring 16 goals in 22 games in the Premier League, and Agger feels he is the best of the current crop at Anfield.

"We play against so many players but Luis Suarez in training is the most difficult," Agger wrote in response to one question. "I'm glad he's on the same side!"

One supporter asked Agger which of his team-mates he would nominate for the Ballon d'Or if he had to do so.

"That's an easy one!" he replied. "It would have to be Luis."
