Mariners maintain lead at the top

Central Coast Mariners stayed two points clear at the top of the A-League with a 1-0 win at home to Perth Glory.

Substitute Bernie Ibini-Isei scored the winner in the 68th minute as the Mariners retained their cushion over second-placed Adelaide United.

Perth finished the match with 10 men following the 76th-minute sending-off of Bas van den Brink.

Adelaide inflicted a ninth defeat of the season on beleaguered Sydney FC with a 3-0 win.

Dario Vidosic scored twice, in the 18th minute and with a 29th-minute penalty, before Iain Ramsay added a third just after the hour mark.
