Vitesse cruise, Feyenoord scrape through

Vitesse Arnhem piled on 10 goals as they secured the most comfortable of fourth-round KNVB Beker wins at home to third-tier amateurs ADO '20.

Renato Ibarra, Wilfried Bony and Nicky Hofs grabbed two goals apiece as seven Vitesse players got themselves on the scoresheet in the 10-1 rout. Vitesse had only led 2-0 at half-time with Theo Janssen and Marco van Ginkel on target.

The floodgates then opened after the break as first Bony grabbed his brace after 54 and 60 minutes. A steady flow of goals followed as Ibarra, Davy Propper, Hofs and Mike Havenaar netted. Clive Keus grabbed ADO's consolation goal after 75 minutes.

Feyenoord won 7-6 on penalties at Eredivisie rivals Heerenveen after their match had finished 2-2.

Heerenveen twice pegged back leads in normal time as Jeffrey Gouweleeuw and Filip Djuricic cancelled out goals from Graziano Pelle and Lex Immers.

Heracles scored twice late on to win 3-1 at NAC Breda. The hosts led through Alex Schalk but after Geoffrey Castillion levelled, Heracles sealed their progress thanks to Samuel Armenteros and Everton.

Fred Benson scored twice in extra time as Zwolle eventually beat second division Go Ahead Eagles 3-2.

Youness Mokhtar's 55th-minute strike was cancelled out by Xander Houtkoop moments later to send the game into the extra period. Benson regained the lead for Zwolle for just a single minute, as Cas Peters replied, but he had the final say with the winner on 118 minutes.
