Aston Villa right-back Alan Hutton has joined Nottingham Forest on an emergency loan until January 1.

Hutton, 27, has not made an appearance under manager Paul Lambert this season, although he has featured five times for Scotland.
The defender joined Villa from Sunderland in the summer of 2011 and made 31 league appearances during his debut season at the club.
But this campaign he has been usurped by youngster Matthew Lowton, and subsequently will ply his trade in the Championship until the New Year.
