 Independiente continue to struggle

Estudiantes kept the pressure on struggling Independiente with a 2-0 win in the Apertura.

Duvan Zapata gave them a lead after half an hour and his replacement Guido Carrillo wrapped up the points from the penalty spot with 14 minutes left.

The result lifts Estu to seventh, but Independiente are only two places from the foot of the table.

Denis Stracqualursi got the only goal after 26 minutes as San Lorenzo beat Atletico Rafaela 1-0.
