Jol unsure of best strikeforce

Fulham manager Martin Jol admits he is unsure of his best attacking combination but believes the abundance of strikers at his disposal is a "luxury problem" for him.

Dimitar Berbatov and Bryan Ruiz were both on target in Saturday's 3-3 draw at Reading, while Hugo Rodallega and Mladen Petric have both found the back of the net this season.

But despite having doubts as to who he thinks should start up front, Jol is more than happy to be spoilt for choice.

"What is my best forward line? That is still my problem - and it's already October," Jol said.

"Ruiz is probably my most creative player but on the other hand Berbatov is a very good second striker. It's like a luxury problem. But it was good to see Ruiz coming on and changing our style, even though we looked fine first half.

"The thing is we started the season with Moussa Dembele, Bryan Ruiz and Mladen Petric against Norwich and it was probably our best game of my time here. Then we had Rodallega and Berba against West Brom and it was another great game.

"Ruiz and Berbatov never played together before. I feel that Berba is not a typical No.9 and that is why I'm playing Rodallega because he has pace and he stretches defences."

Fulham have enjoyed a strong start to the season and currently sit seventh in the Premier League. They next face Everton at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
