Under-fire Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath has received the backing of the club's board despite his side's woeful start to the season.

The 2009 German champions are currently bottom of the Bundesliga - the first time they have been there in six years.
And their 2-0 loss at home to SC Freiburg on Saturday marked the fourth match in a row in which they have failed to find the back of the net, with the club only scoring twice in eight league games this term.
However, one of the directors on the club's board, Garcia Sanz, has given his support to Magath, claiming his job is safe.
"We are in a good way," said Sanz. "Currently, the coach is not an issue."
Magath himself also remains confident in his ability and believes he can turn things around at Wolfsburg.
"I am convinced I will continue my job here," he said. "I am responsible for the compilation of the squad and the way we play."
Wolfsburg supporters voiced their opinion to Saturday's defeat by reacting in sarcastic fashion and chanting "German champions - only VfL" as well as the name of reserves coach Lorenz Gunther Kostner - something which Magath denies hearing.
Keeper Diego Benaglio was also critical of the side's performance, pinpointing why he thinks they have been struggling as of late.
"It is easy to realise we are anxious when things go wrong," he said. "We are not capable of getting out of that situation by ourselves."
While midfielder Thomas Kahlenberg, who was told he could leave the club before the season, added: "We have good individual players, but our teamwork is just not very good."
