Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes Paris Saint-Germain's summer influx of stars means they now have a better side than his former club AC Milan.

Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva swapped the San Siro for the Parc des Princes ahead of the 2012-13 season and while Les Parisiens have started their Ligue 1 and Champions League campaigns impressively, the Rossoneri have struggled at home and in Europe.

The Sweden star has scored more goals (eight) for PSG than Milan have managed as a team (seven) so far this term, and believes that his former club's failure to find adequate replacements for those who have departed is responsible for their disappointing results of late.

"I think that this Paris side is stronger than Milan, that is one of the reasons why I moved here," Ibrahimovic said. "With the arrival of Thiago Silva, myself and other important players, PSG were able to buy great quality.

"At the same time, Milan lost quality. I totally believe in the Paris' dream to become one of the best sides in Europe and the world, but we have to win to do that."
