France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris appears increasingly likely to remain at Lyon despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
• 'Spurs failed with Lloris bid'
Spurs are in the market for a new goalkeeper and Lyon claimed earlier this summer that they made an offer for Lloris, 25, but Bernard Lacombe, advisor to Les Gones president Jean-Michel Aulas, says the goalkeeper is ''reluctant to leave the club".
Lacombe told French radio station RMC that he will stay "unless Spurs make a huge offer" and added: ''Their proposal wasn't good enough, given Hugo's qualities. He hopes to stay with us, and we hope he will."
Lacombe also said that Clement Grenier will not be allowed to join Nice as a result of Yoann Gourcuff's injury - ''It's obvious that we won't let him leave," he said - and ruled out a deal for Dijon's Benjamin Corgnet, who impressed last season.
However, Steed Malbranque could join Lyon. The 30-year-old midfielder is a free agent after leaving Saint-Etienne for personal reasons and has been training with the club.
