Juventus announce Pogba signing

ESPN staff

Juventus have officially announced the signing of Manchester United youngster Paul Pogba on a free-transfer, ending months of speculation over his future.

Pogba, 19, has signed a four-year contract with Juventus following a three-year spell at Old Trafford in which he made seven appearances for the club..

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had already confirmed the French Under-19 international's departure from the club and expressed his disappointment at the player's conduct in leaving the club.

The transfer is a major coup for Juventus, though, who have been looking to invest in youth talent to build upon the club's Serie A win in the 2011-12 season.
