Pescara have confirmed that they are interested in signing Manchester City's Slovakian winger Vladimir Weiss.
Weiss, 22, has failed to break into the first-team picture at the Etihad and spent last season on loan with Espanyol.
Pescara, newly-promoted to Serie A, are looking to strengthen their team for the challenges ahead and see Weiss as a key target along with Brescia's Brazilian striker Jonathas.
"There is great interest in Jonathas and Weiss," Pescara sporting director Daniele Delli Carri said. "We are still discussing their arrival.
"Jonathas is a very strong striker and Weiss is a winger who can play both on the right and left side. These are two very interesting players who can still grow."
