Damiao, 22, is now a major part of the Brazil national team and will be with the Olympic squad in London for the next month. Besides Milan, he is believed to be a target for both Tottenham and Inter Milan.
With the Rossoneri in search of a centre-forward following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to PSG this week, Vinicius Prates has been quick to thrust his client into the consideration of the Milan board.
Prates told Terra: "I met Milan board members just to know them. It was the first contact. Let's see if it develops within the next few days."
Having been the top-scorer in Brazil over the course of 2011, Damiao has continued his goal-scoring form this year with 20 goals in 29 games for club side Internacional.
