Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones has confirmed that he would be interested in bringing Joey Barton to Hillsborough, should the midfielder become available.

Barton, 29, has been told that he is on a final warning at Queens Park Rangers following his dismissal on the final day of the season, which saw him punished with a 12-match ban for several counts of violent conduct.
There is, however, a widespread belief that the West London side would be happy to see Barton head for the exit doors.
Jones told BBC Radio Sheffield: "If he became available then he would be a player we'd look at. The deal would need to be right for the club and for Joey."
"He's got a reputation but then so have a number of players we've got at this club and it wouldn't be something that would put us off bringing a player of Joey's calibre to the club. "We wouldn't have him for 12 games and that would be something we'd have to consider."
Barton joined QPR on a free transfer only last summer, having been allowed to leave Newcastle following disagreements with club officials.
