Borriello transfer listed by Roma

Roma have confirmed that they have put striker Marco Borriello on the transfer list.

Borriello, 30, joined Roma from AC Milan on a permanent basis in 2011 but is not in head coach Zdenek Zeman's plans for next season.

The Italy international has been linked with Genoa and Fiorentina this summer, but both clubs reportedly consider his wages - said to be €5.4 million per season - an obstacle.

"We have placed Borriello on the transfer list and he is well aware of it," Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Meanwhile, Roma expect to complete the signing of Chievo midfielder Michael Bradley this week.

The USA international, 24, is expected to put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Giallorossi.

"There are still some minor details to sort out, but we expect Bradley to join the team in pre-season training in the next few days," Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini said.

Bradley joined Chievo last summer from Borussia Monchengladbach and made 31 league appearances for the Verona outfit. He has one year left in his contract with Chievo.
