It was reported in Germany that Champions League finalists Bayern had spoken to Guardiola's camp about the possibility he could take charge at the Allianz Arena from 2013.
Guardiola, though, will spend the 2012-13 season on sabbatical and his agent says he will not even consider approaches for the following campaign at this stage.
"It would be a waste of time," Jose Maria Orobitg told Kicker. "Pep doesn't know what he wants in 2013 yet. Five or six big clubs have asked about him, but Pep isn't listening to offers. Maybe we can discuss things in February or March next year."
Germany international Sami Khedira believes Guardiola would do a fine job at Bayern.
"Everything he has done at Barcelona is worthwhile," the Real Madrid midfielder said. "He is one of the coaching greats. Bayern is a great club and he would fit in very well. He would face a new challenge."
