Vasco seal third straight win

Vasco da Gama maintained their 100% record after three Campeonato matches with a 4-2 home win over Nautico Recife.

Felisbino Alecsandro scored in each half, with Felipe and Juninho also target for the early table-toppers. Luis Martinez and Clemerson Araujo grabbed second-half goals for Nautico.

Internacional remained unbeaten in second place as they edged Sao Paulo 1-0 thanks to Andres D'Alessandro's effort.

Coritiba saw off Portuguesa 2-0, with Ayrton and Santos Everton Costa the scorers.

Atletico Mineiro and Bahia drew 1-1 after Jo's 52nd-minute penalty was cancelled out by Leandro Fahel.

Vagner Love grabbed a last-minute equaliser as Flamengo stole a 2-2 draw at Ponte Preta.

The home side were 2-1 ahead after Rene Junior and Joao Paulo scored either side Renato Abreu's 27th-minute strike, paving the way for Love's late leveller. Ponte had also Roger sent off in the closing moments.

Santos drew for the third time this season, 1-1 against visiting Fluminense. Wason Renteria gave Santos hope of victory with a fourth-minute opener only for Carlinhos to level from the penalty spot in the 26th minute.

Goals from Marquinhos and Felipe Azevedo gave Sport Recife a 2-1 success over Palmeiras, whose goal came through Hernan Barcos.

Gremio claimed a 1-0 win at Atletico Goianiense courtesy of Ezequiel Miralles' strike in the 68th minute.
