Kyle Walker has signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur until 2017.
• Redknapp: No Vertonghen bid yet
Walker, 21, has been a regular in the Spurs first-team this season and made two appearances for the England national team in November last year.
The right-back, who was named the Professional Footballers' Association Young Player of the Year last month, enjoyed loan spells with Sheffield United, Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa before making the breakthrough at Spurs.
Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has underlined his desire to keep Emmanuel Adebayor at the club next season.
Adebayor netted twice in the 4-1 win over Bolton on Wednesday and, asked if he was keen to make the striker's loan from Manchester City permanent, Redknapp said: "Of course I would. I love Adebayor. He is a real character and a good player.
"We will have to see what the summer holds. I haven't spoken to the chairman about players. We haven't sat down yet but he has done very well for us."
