Premier Showdown - Apr 21-22
Tommy Smyth will be buying Nani a drink after the Manchester United substitute's injury time goal provided a correct score and victory last week. Four rounds to go - surely Tommy can't win them all and force a share of the title?
Looking to keep Tommy at bay and protect second spot is David Jaroslovsky who is from Los Angeles in the United States and will represent the Rest of the World this weekend.
He says: "I am a 23-year-old Financial Analyst and a big supporter of Juventus. I work as a referee on weekends and so I understand how tough the job can be.
"Seriously, you try making 100 split second decisions in 90 minutes. I bet you get some wrong too. The rest of the world needs a win, I'm here to deliver it. Game on!"
Little did you know, David, that Dale too used to be a whistle-blower many years ago.
For each round of matches we invite someone to represent the Rest of the World and take on Press Pass' Tommy Smyth and ESPNsoccernet journalist Dale Johnson in our predictions game.
Points are then awarded as follows:
• Three points for a correct result and scoreline
• One point for a correct result
After the weekend's scores are in and the Showdown result has been worked out, the winning pundit receives three points for their season's total.
Should the challenger win, the total is added to the Rest of the World tally. In the case of a draw, the points are shared.
A fine win for David who earns the ROTW a vital three points. With only three rounds left to play, Tommy's crown slips from his grasp and it's up to Dale to hold off our challengers.
